For Evaluating the Level of Management Maturity
Every organization or its part (section, department) is managed in a particular way, which is evaluable by so called “level of maturity”. The evaluation is made using the given scale for each area described in the Map o processes. Evaluation scale of the level of maturity is common for all processes and it has got 6 degrees. Each degree of maturity is derived from the level of mastery of carried out processes. In other words the levels of maturity express the degree of management quality. The model of maturity built in CorSet contains concrete criteria and overall quality evaluation method of management of a given area (based on so called “soft metrics”). Thus CorSet specifies generally used levels of maturity for significant areas of processes in connection with the Map of processes and modifies them for the public sector environment. The interconnection between the levels of maturity and particular areas of management as well as organization functioning according to process map is its added value. A whole organization can be evaluated as well as its particular parts, which are structured according to the Map of processes. Such evaluation of maturity allows making an audit in accordance to CAF, while more detailed degrees of maturity bring more objectivity to the evaluation.

The Procedure – using of CorSet
- Identifying the area to be evaluated (according to the Map of processes)
- Evaluation of the chosen area or the whole organization with the help of maturity degrees
- Evaluation with the help of maturity degrees (allows more or less objective evaluation)
