Service Catalogue

Service-oriented enterprise management is a school of management reacting to the modern trends in enterprise management. Based on the principle of perception and management of an enterprise as a set of services, this is a client- and manager-oriented management that needs to have the separate services described and interrelated. This includes a service catalogue.

What is a Service Catalogue?

The service catalogue is a description of the enterprise services which serves for the communication with clients and to service management in the enterprise. It enables a faster and simpler:

  • Description of services provided to the clients
  • Description of the enterprise support services
  • Description of services purchased from outside providers
  • Management of the enterprise functioning

CorSet contains a description of the service catalogue creation, basic categorization of services and the relationships between the service types and the processes. CorSet enables to create a complete catalogue of services in the enterprise. Application of the service catalogue also helps to control the outsourced services. Moreover, CorSet links application of the service catalogue and the process and activities description in the enterprise in a quite unique manner.

CorSet Framework Book 2 contains guidelines for creating a complete description of an enterprise functioning and management by help of services. This represents an up-to-date manner of the enterprise management based on services (Service-Oriented Management). The CorSet service catalogue enables to quickly find added value to every process (purpose and key efficiency indicators).
